help!! knitting a scarf?
I just now started knitting, and I’m using a bamboo yarn. I can’t remember what it’s called exactly but it’s fairly thin and fuzzy. I bought 5mm needles because on the package it said that’s the size best for that yarn, and when i started knitting I had the thickness i wanted for a scarf for about two rows, and then for some reason it got thicker and thicker, and now the rows can barely fit on the needles because it’s so thick. It basically grew like 2 inches thicker, and the stitches are as close together when i look at it as they were first, so it’s not that they are stretched out. Why did it get this way? Is there any way to reverse this without starting completely over?
