“Join in the round” Knitting Example

Here is how I “join in the round” when doing circular knitting.

The video is showing two ways to make a provisional cast on where you afterward will have live sts to work the opposite way. First we are casting on using a waste yarn, then we are casting on around the cable of a circular needle. When using the circular needle you can easily afterward just pull the needle through to knit position and start working the sts for a hem, cuff, border etc.
