We have several designs based on knitted squares. This is how you knit a square: Cast on 8 sts on double pointed needles. Distribute sts on 4 needles with 2 sts per needle. Knit a first round and at the same time insert a marker in the first stitch on every needle. Round 2: Knit the stitches with markers and purl remaining sts at the same time inc 1 st by making a yarn over on each side of each st with marker (= 8 inc per round). Round 3: Knit all sts, knit YO into back of loop to avoid holes. Repeat Round 2 and 3.
